OZ KOVO considers it necessary to look for long-term sustainable solutions in the social dialogue between trade unions, carriers and the VÚC – as customers of suburban bus transport, in such a way as to increase the overall attractiveness of this sector also for young people coming to the labour market. Otherwise, the future of this profession will be in jeopardy.

OZ KOVO proposes:

• resumption of sectoral collective bargaining in bus transport
• revision of Act No. 462/2008 Coll. on the organization of working time in transport with the aim of reconciling personal and professional life
• education reform, allowing for the acquisition of a driving licence as part of the education
• changes in the remuneration system for the aim of fair wages
• intensifying social dialogue in order to increase the attractiveness of the profession:
