  • COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

OZ KOVO negotiates 6 higher-level collective agreements in the sectors of engineering, metallurgy, electrical, glass, public bus transport and services, and also participates in the negotiation of collective agreements for employees of the Fire and Rescue Service.

According to statistical data, employees in companies where a collective agreement is in force have 21% higher wages than in those where trade unions do not operate. In addition to wages, collective agreements regulate a number of other entitlements, such as working hours, breaks at work, terms of time account, overtime work, on-call time, conditions for termination of employment, including higher entitlement to severance pay or severance pay, employer's obligations in relation to work safety, regulation of risky workplaces and work, conditions for drawing funds from the social fund, and many others.

In accordance with internal regulations,

members of OZ KOVO have the right to free legal services related to employment relations and social security, which includes:

- consultation
- preparation of documents,
- legal opinions,

- proposals for submissions to courts and other state administration bodies, including the provision of free legal representation in courts.
- Legal aid is provided to them where they need it, and it is thanks to regional workplaces that this assistance can be immediate, targeted and effective.
